1. Terminology

Products which are shipped unassembled. Those will require assembly by you before they can be used. |
| "Ground Floor" |
The level or story of the house or property to which products are delivered which is the same level as street level. |

A form of communication with us, via an on-line chat service available on our website. |
| "Seal/s" |
Sticky tape or sticker/s used to protect the products in their original box, to ensure they are not opened or used. |
| "Standard Warranty" |
The guarantee Soundsmusical.com will collect, repair and return any product at no extra cost to you, if within the warranty period granted by the manufacturer and/or supplier. |
2. About these Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between the customer and the company.
- By using any part of Soundsmusical.com you agree to be bound by these conditions of use.
- If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, you may not access or use this site.
- All goods and services sold through this site are in accordance with the distance regulations 2000.
3. Placing Your Order
- When you place your order, Soundsmusical.com will send you an email confirming the receipt of your order.
- Payment for the products you have ordered will be security checked and taken at the time your order is placed.
- Once your order and payment has been checked by us, we will send you a confirmation of your order by email, which will include your order reference number and estimated shipping times for the product(s) you have ordered. Shipping times are an indication of when your order will leave our warehouse. This does not constitute a delivery day or date with you.
- Soundsmusical.com will endeavour to process your order within 1 Business day.
- You will receive confirmation that your products have been shipped upon dispatch from our warehouse by email. Your dispatch email will also include a tracking number so you can check the progress of delivery with our chosen courier.
4. Prices and Availability
- The price you will pay for the products you have ordered will be set at the time your order is received by us.
- All prices are inclusive of VAT.
- Due to the number of products sold by us, there may be an occasion where a product is mis-priced. However, all items are checked for the correct price when your payment is checked by us.
- Although we make every effort to ensure supply of the products listed on your order confirmation to you, there may be occasions where this will not be possible because of (but not limiting to), (i) Products are no longer available for sale by the supplier or not being manufactured or (ii) if there is a pricing error on the Soundsmusical.com web-site. Should this be the case we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and may suggest an alternative for you to purchase. If an alternative is not applicable then we will cancel your order for those products which cannot be supplied and refund you any money that you have paid in respect to these products.
- Repayment of such monies will be the extent of our liability to you, if the products you have ordered cannot be supplied.
- The availability for products sold by us can be found on our website. Soundsmsucial.com cannot be more specific about availability, other than the information that is displayed on our site. Dispatch times are estimates. Although we cannot guarantee when a product/s will be dispatched we endeavour to give you the best information possible and dispatch the items at the earliest. If you are unsure about when an item will be delivered to you, you can track the progress of your order by checking your dispatch email or by calling our sales team on 020 8367 2080, or send an email to enquiries@soundsmusical.com, quoting your order reference number.
- As your order is processed we will inform you if any products you have ordered are unavailable.
5. Payment

- Please note that Soundmusical.com cannot accept Visa Electron as method of payment for online of phone transactions. This form of payment can only be authorised with a signature at the point of payment and can only be accepted in our stores and showrooms.
- You may give your card information to us on the phone or over the internet, using our secure on-line system only.
- Please do not send us your bank or payment details by way of fax, post or email for security reasons. Soundsmusical.com cannot be held liable for any damages incurred due to disclosure of information using the above-listed means.
6. Delivery of Your Goods
- All Goods are sold new and sealed in their original packaging as sent by the supplier, unless stated otherwise, either by the website, or by any of our representatives on the phone, email or chat.
- Soundsmusical.com reserves the right to enforce quality checks on any products it might find susceptible to be damaged in transit. Soundsmusical.com will add protective packing material and re-seal any product that passed a quality check satisfactorily and add a quality assurance certificate to any such product.
- Soundsmuscial.com will use only reputable courier companies to deliver goods to you.
- Once an order has been dispatched from us, it is usually delivered the next working day (unless you have requested your delivery to be upgraded as in clause 6. VI., or live outside mainland UK, including Isle of White and the Scottish Isles).
If your order contains more than 1 item, we may deliver such products on different days.
- As your order will be delivered to you buy courier, Soundsmusical.com cannot commit or guarantee to delivery times, standard delivery times are between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- You can upgrade your delivery to a premium service, i.e. before 9.00am, 10:30am or 12.00 noon. Weekend deliveries are also available, please contact our customer serive department to inquire about the relevant costs should you wish to upgrade your delivery.
- Unless stated otherwise on your order confirmation, all products sold are flat packed and larger items such as Digital Pianos will require assembly. Please note that for safety reasons due to the size and weight of these products, we recommend that 2 people assemble all Digital Pianos.
- Deliveries of heavy items are made to ground level ONLY. We can arrange delivery upstairs or steps upon request at additional cost. The responsibility of informing us that a heavy item should be delivered to any floor other than the ground floor is the customer's. Please note that the courier might refuse to deliver a heavy item to any floor other than the ground floor. Soundsmusical.com is not liable to any additional costs incurred due to the customer's failure to notify the company of the need to deliver to any floor other than the ground floor. In such cases, the customer will be liable to all additional costs incurred by the courier, the customer or the company.
- WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU GAIN ASSISTANCE WITH HEAVY ITEMS, OUR COURIERS WILL ONLY DELIVER TO YOUR FRONT DOOR AS THIS IS THE EXTENT OF THEIR INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
7. Delivery Charges
England, Scotland (inc. The Highlands), Wales, Isle of Skye
All items of any weight or size delivered free of charge. Acoustic pianos and digital grand pianos are also delivered free to England, Scotland and Wales. Please ask for a quote for acoustic pianos or digital grand pianos that require delivery to The Highlands or Isle of Skye.
Isle of Wight
Less than 1KG, delivered free of charge, (most accessories, MP3 players).
All boxed or bagged items over 1KG £14.99.

Please note that any any taxes levied on the shipments either upon delivery or on collection by the authorities in Switzerland, Norway and Iceland will not be covered by SoundsMusical.com (in accordance with section 16)
8. Passing of Risk
Ownership and risk of the products ordered will be passed onto you upon signature for delivery.
9. Damaged on Delivery and Missing Goods
Upon Delivery, you must inspect the condition of the items you receive (including their packaging).
If the packaging is in any way damaged you must sign for delivery of such goods as 'DAMAGED'.
Notification must also be given to Soundsmusical.com at the earliest opportunity (or in any case within 24 hours) in writing (such notification can be sent by mail, email or fax).
Failure to do so could result in the delay of our Customer Service team resolving any situation and/or offering suitable remedies in the quickest possible time.
In the unlikely event that the goods inside the packaging are damaged upon arrival by our couriers, please REJECT the delivery and inform Soundsmusical.com at the earliest opportunity or within 24 hours.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE PACKAGING AND YOUR GOODS BEFORE SIGNING FOR THE GOODS AS IN SATISFATORY CONDITION. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN DELAYS OF PROCESSING ANY CALIMS YOU MAY WISH TO RAISE IN REGARDS TO THE CONDITION IN WHICH YOU RECEIVED THE GOODS (Please refer to clause 8).
10. Your right to return the products to us
- 60 Day Return Policy (un-opened)
Soundsmusical.com operates a 60 day return policy: You may return the product(s) to us for a refund within 60 days. Such returns are subject to payment of transportation charges (Please refer to clause 11) and provided the following conditions are met:
- You inform us of your decision to return the goods within 60 days (commencing the day after you receive the goods).
- The product(s) packaging has not been opened or used and no seals have been broken (including seals replaced by Soundsmusical.com at any case in which a product had been quality checked).
- All additional packaging originally used to send the product(s) to you is used to ensure the safe return of the product back to us. THIS WILL BE YOUR ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY.
- Soundsmusical.com reserve the right to reject any product(s) that appear to have been opened or used. In such cases you are liable to pay a re-stocking fee which will be 10% of the value of the items you wish to return.
- Your refund can only be processed once the product(s) have been returned back to us and checked by our staff to meet these conditions.
- You must follow the procedure detailed in clause 10. C) below.
- 60 Day return policy (Change of Heart)
Soundsmusical.com also holds a 60 Day return policy due to change of heart: If you simply changed your mind about a product(s) that you have received (having tried them), you may wish to return the product(s) to us for a refund. Such returns are subject to payment of transportation charges (please refer to section 11) and provided the following conditions are met:
- You inform us of your decision to return the goods within 60 calendar days (commencing the day after you receive the goods).
- The goods are retuned in their original packaging and good condition.
- With the product(s) will be enclosed any accessories, in box warranties and other materials supplied within the box.
- All packaging originally used to send the item to you is used to ensure the safe return of the product back to us. THIS WILL BE YOUR ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY.
- The products are securely sealed.
- You must follow the procedure detailed in clause 10. C) below.
- To ensure we can process your request efficiently and as quickly as possible:
Please contact us on 020 8366 6638 between 09:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday to make arrangements for the return.
Our Customer Service Team will provide you with a returns number which must be securely attached to the outside of the products(s) that you are returning.
Soundsmusical.com will then arrange for the product(s) to be collected by a courier chosen by us. A mutually convenient time and collection address will be arranged and transportation costs will apply. (Please see section 11 for amounts).
It is important that on the day agreed to collect your items that you ensure the items are collected. A failed collection will result in you being liable to additional charges.
Collections for items over 30KG are only possible from Ground floor locations. It is your responsibility to ensure the item is at the ground floor prior to the agreed collection time.
You will be refunded the total cost of your order minus any transportation fees and.or failed collection that apply.

By following these procedures you will help to ensure that the product(s) arrive at the correct destination, in the condition that they were sent and within a reasonable amount of time.
Please note that in the event you return a product that is damaged through misuse by you, or a product is returned outside the reasons as in clause 10. B) with no fault found, any cost incurred by us will be payable by you.
11. Transportation Costs
(Please note that the following clauses relate to UK Mainland transportation only. Returns from outside UK mainland will be dealt with on a case by case basis as shipping costs may vary. If such cases apply to you, please email our Customer Service team at: service@soundsmusical.com to obtain a quotation).
If you received the goods by post from us and they weigh between 0-3KG you must return the products back to us by post, following clause 10. C) of these conditions. Such returns must be sent by Insured/Recorded delivery and costs are payable by you. A £2.00 administration charge will apply, which will be deducted at the time your refund is processed.
If the product(s) being returned have weight between 3KG-20KG, Soundsmusical.com will arrange for a courier to collect these goods and return them back to us. The administration charge applicable for such items stands at £25.00 including VAT, which will be deducted at the time your refund is processed.
If the weight of the product(s) being returned are in excess of 20KG, Soundsmusical.com will arrange for a courier to collect these goods and return them back to us. Please note that items over 20KG can only be collected from ground floor locations, and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the item is on the ground floor prior to the agreed collection time. The administration charge applicable for such items stands at £50.00 including VAT, which will be deducted at the time your refund is processed.
If you were supplied a product in error, it is faulty or you have missing parts and you believe that you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement, please contact our Customer Services team on 020 8366 6638 or email us: service@soundsmusical.com. The return of products for such reasons will not incur any of the above Transportation Costs.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Soundsmusical.com will endeavour to process all refunds as quickly as possible. Please note that busy periods can delay such processes but all refunds will be complete within 30 days of cancelling or reporting returns (This is in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, 2000).
Soundsmusical.com reserves the right to refuse cancellation of any item ordered and/or specifically for the demand of the customer, including (but not limiting) guitars built in custom shops, items that are not usual production line, personalized items, in accordance to the Distance Sales Regulations, 2000.
13. Warranties
For any products purchased through Soundsmusical.com, Soundsmusical.com must be your first 'port of call' for any warranty issues. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please email our Customer service team at service@soundsmusical.com.
- Guitars
All Classenti guitars are covered by a standard 5 year warranty.
- Amplifiers
All Classenti amps are covered by a standard 5 year warranty.
- Digital Pianos
All Classenti pianos are covered by a standard 5 year warranty.
- String Instruments
All Classenti string instruments are covered by a standard 5 year warranty.
In the case that your product/instrument becomes defective, some instruments manufacturer will require that the product is checked and tested before issuing a replacement. Soundsmusical.com is not able to replace these instruments before inspection or necessary testing has been completed.
All other products (other than those of perishable nature, including, without limitation, strings, plectrums, bows, reeds, ligatures, mouthpieces, rosins, cleaning materials and care kits, drumsticks, straps, cables) featured on Soundsmusical.com carry a 1 Year Warranty. FOR CONSUMERS, THIS WARRANTY IS IN ADDITION TO YOUR STATATORY RIGHTS. Soundsmusical.com is not liable to costs of telephone calls you make to us at national rates regarding warranty issues. We recommend that all warranties are notified to us by email at service@soundsmusical.com or in writing by post (please refer to clause 15.)
